Our Story
A gallery with
purpose.
Jeva Arts was founded on a singular belief: that exceptional art has the power to transform spaces, perspectives, and lives. We exist to connect extraordinary artists with passionate collectors and curious audiences.
Our Mission
Championing artistic excellence across Africa and beyond
Jeva Arts was established to be more than a commercial gallery. From our very beginning, we committed to being an active participant in the cultural life of the continent — producing exhibitions that challenge, educate, and inspire.
We represent artists at every stage of their careers, from emerging voices to internationally exhibited masters, providing them with the platform and support to pursue their most ambitious work.

Part of a Larger Vision
The Mavieva Group
Jeva Arts is a proud member of the Mavieva Group — a diversified Nigerian holding company with interests spanning culture, media, hospitality, and real estate. The Mavieva Group was founded by the same individual who founded Jeva Arts, and its purpose is to build enduring institutions that serve the long-term flourishing of African societies.
In 2026, ownership of Jeva Arts was formally restructured and moved into the Mavieva Group. This is a founder-led reorganisation — the Group and the gallery share the same ownership at the top. The restructuring gives Jeva Arts access to greater institutional resources and a broader platform, while its creative direction and independence remain entirely unchanged.
Visit Mavieva GroupFounder-led Structure
Jeva Arts and the Mavieva Group share the same founder. The 2026 restructuring moved ownership into the Group for operational and strategic reasons — the vision and leadership remain the same.
Long-term Thinking
This is not a sale or an external acquisition. It is a founder-led decision to build Jeva Arts within a stronger institutional framework for the long term.
Unchanged Creative Direction
The gallery's artistic identity, curatorial programme, and day-to-day operations are completely unaffected by the restructuring.
