Shipping & Returns

Guidance for delivery, packing, insurance, customs, inspection, and returns when collecting artwork from Jeva Arts.

Careful Handling

Packing and delivery are selected around the artwork, not treated as a generic parcel.

Insurance Support

We can coordinate insurance options for eligible shipments and high-value works.

14-Day Contact Window

Contact us within 14 days of delivery if you need to discuss a return.

Delivery Approach

Every artwork is handled according to its size, medium, value, condition, and destination. Smaller works may be shipped through trusted courier partners, while large, fragile, framed, sculptural, or high-value works may require specialist art handling.

Before dispatch, we confirm the delivery address, contact details, packing approach, shipping cost, and estimated timeline. Some orders may require a bespoke delivery quote.

Packing And Insurance

Works are packed with protective materials appropriate to the artwork and journey. Depending on the piece, this may include flat packing, corner protection, custom crates, climate-conscious handling, or specialist installation support.

Insurance can be arranged where available and appropriate. Insurance coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures may vary by carrier, artwork type, and destination.

Timelines

Local Lagos deliveries are usually arranged after payment confirmation and scheduling with the collector. Domestic and international deliveries may take longer due to packing, courier collection, customs, or carrier routing.

Delivery timelines are estimates. We will keep you informed if a shipment is delayed by customs, carrier disruption, weather, documentation requirements, or specialist handling needs.

International Shipping

International collectors are responsible for import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, documentation charges, and local delivery charges unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Certain destinations or artwork types may require additional documentation or may not be eligible for shipping. We will advise you where known, but collectors should also check local import rules before purchasing.

Delivery Inspection

Please inspect packaging before accepting delivery where possible. If packaging appears damaged, photograph it before opening and note the damage with the courier if the courier process allows.

After opening, inspect the artwork promptly. Keep all packaging until you are satisfied the work has arrived safely. If there is damage or a discrepancy, contact us as soon as possible with clear photographs of the packaging, labels, and artwork.

Returns

Because artworks are unique, fragile, and often specially packed or shipped for each collector, returns are handled case by case. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery if you wish to discuss a return.

Returned works must be in the same condition as received, with original packaging where possible, and must be approved by Jeva Arts before being sent back. Collectors may be responsible for return shipping, insurance, duties, and any loss in value caused by handling or damage.

Non-Returnable Items

Commissioned works, customised framing, special orders, final-sale pieces, damaged-after-delivery items, and works altered or installed after receipt may not be eligible for return unless required by law or agreed in writing.
